NBC reveals Official Synopsis of The Blacklist episode Luther Braxton

NBC has released the Official Synopsis of The Blacklist episode “Luther Braxton” (2.09) that will be aired February 1, 2015 at 10:15 pm.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

RED IS CAPTURED BY FEDERAL AGENTS

When the elusive Reddington (James Spader) is arrested and taken to a secret detention facility Liz (Megan Boone) and the task force set out to save Red before he disappears forever. Meanwhile, Red encounters Luther Braxton (guest star Ron Perlman) at the detention facility, a thief that he shares a complicated history with.

Diego Klattenhoff, Harry Lennix, Amir Arison and Mozhan Marno also star. David Strathairn and Janel Maloney guest star.

In The Blacklist, For decades, ex-government agent Raymond “Red” Reddington has been one of the FBI’s most wanted fugitives. Brokering shadowy deals for criminals across the globe, Red was known by many as “The Concierge of Crime.” Now, he’s mysteriously surrendered to the FBI with an explosive offer: He will help catch a long-thought-dead terrorist, Ranko Zamani, under the condition that he speaks only to Elizabeth “Liz” Keen, an FBI profiler fresh out of Quantico. For Liz, it’s going to be one hell of a first day on the job.
