The CW has released the Official Synopsis of Containment episode “Nothing Gold Can Stay” (1.11) that will be aired on Tuesday, July 5 at 09:00-10:00 PM.

COURAGE AND INTEGRITY

Lex (David Gyasi) and Leo (Trevor St. John) clash over their next move after a failed plan threatens to unravel their entire case. When word begins to spread that there may be a way out of the cordon, Jana (Christina Moses) considers her options. Finally, an unexpected turn of events brings Jake (Chris Wood) and Katie (Kristen Gutoskie) closer than ever.

Claudia Black and George Young also star.

“Nothing Gold Can Stay” (#111) has been written by Julie Plec & Tom Farrell and directed by Chris Grismer.

 

Containment: When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure.
