CBS reveals Official Synopsis of ZOO episode The Contingency

CBS Entertainment has released the Official Synopsis of ZOO episode “The Contingency” (2.11) that will be aired on Tuesday, August 30 at 09:00-10:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

Mitch and Jamie brave an animal attack at the Russian Embassy in Washington, D.C., and Jackson finally gets the answers he’s been looking for from a surprising source.

“ZOO” is starring Billy Burke (Mitch Morgan), James Wolk (Jackson Oz), Kristen Connolly (Jamie Campbell), Nonso Anozie (Abraham Kenyatta), Nora Arnezeder (Chloe Tousignant), Alyssa Diaz (Dariela Marzan) and Josh Salatin (Logan).

Guest Cast are Tom Butler (Greg Trotter), Peter Outerbridge (General Davies), Joanne Kelly (Allison Shaw), Ken Olin (Robert Oz), Jason Cermak (Aide/Sgt. Mansdale), Kristof Konrad (Leonid Ivankov), Paul Lazenby (Sven), Rita Rajmova (Sabine Ivankov), Nevis Unipan (Tasha Ivankov), Natalie Gibson (Embassy worker), JC Williams (Swat team member), Sean Millington (Embassy security guard).

“The Contingency” (#211) is written by Melissa Glenn & Rebekah F. Smith and directed by Leslie Libman.

In ZOO, the danger escalates as the animal mutation moves to phase two, and they begin attacking infrastructure and creating deadly environmental phenomena in an effort to make the planet uninhabitable. Also, the team discovers a shocking mutation that threatens the life of one of their own.
