NBC reveals Official Synopsis of Timeless episode The Capture of Benedict Arnold

NBC has released the Official Synopsis of Timeless episode “The Capture of Benedict Arnold” (1.10) that will be aired on Monday, December 12 at 10:00-11:00 PM.

THE TEAM LEARNS THERE ARE TWO SIDES TO EVERY STORY WHEN THEY ENCOUNTER AMERICA’S FIRST TRAITOR

A stunning turn during the American Revolution prompts Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter), and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) to question whether they’ve been fighting on the wrong side this whole time. While Agent Christopher (Sakina Jaffrey) prepares for the worst back in present day, the team encounters the Father of the Country (Damian O’Hare), makes a dubious pact, and confronts the possibility they may not be a trio for long.

In Timeless, a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, soldier and history professor who must use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events.
