NBC reveals Official Synopsis of Timeless episode The Murder of Jesse James

NBC has released the Official Synopsis of Timeless episode “The Murder of Jesse James” (1.12) that will be aired on Monday, January 23 at 10:00-11:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

THE TEAM CHASES HISTORY’S MOST NOTORIOUS OUTLAW THROUGH THE WEST AS THEY PURSUE FLYNN AND MAKE A CRUCIAL DISCOVERY ABOUT HIS MISSION

Flynn (Goran Višnjic) teams up with legendary outlaw, Jesse James (guest star Daniel Lissing). Together they cut a bloody swath across the American frontier. Hot on Flynn’s trail, Lucy (Abigail Spencer), Wyatt (Matt Lanter) and Rufus (Malcolm Barrett) enlist the help of an iconic Marshal to help bring the fugitives to justice.

Also starring Paterson Joseph, Sakina Jaffrey and Claudia Doumit. Guest starring Annie Wersching, Colman Domingo and Zahn McClarnon.

In Timeless, a mysterious criminal steals a secret state-of-the-art time machine, intent on destroying America as we know it by changing the past. Our only hope is an unexpected team: a scientist, soldier and history professor who must use the machine’s prototype to travel back in time to critical events.
