History has released the Official Synopsis of Vikings episode “Resurrection” (6.09) that will be aired on Wednesday, January 29 at 10:00-11:00 PM.

In Iceland, Ubbe and Torvi finally meet a mysterious wanderer. Bjorn is forced to re-think who his enemies are when Erik returns from a scouting mission with worrying information. Bjorn will need allies, but can he convince his old foe, King Harald, to join forces in the face of the new threat? Ivar is reunited with someone close to him.
VIKINGS is starring Katheryn Winnick as Lagertha, Gustaf Skarsgård as Floki, Alexander Ludwig as Bjorn, Alex Høgh Andersen as Ivar the Boneless, Jordan Smith as Ubbe, Marco Ilso Hvitserk and Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Bishop Heahmund.
VIKINGS tells the extraordinary tales of the lives and epic adventures of these warriors and portrays life in the Dark Ages through the eyes of Viking society. The gripping family saga of Ragnar, Rollo, Lagertha and Bjorn continues as alliances and loyal friendships are questioned, faith is catechized and relationships are strained.
