The CW has released the Official Synopsis of Coroner episode “Fire” (2.01) that will be aired on Wednesday, October 7 at 9:00-10:00 PM.
In the season two premiere, Jenny (Serinda Swan) investigates a devastating fire in a low-income apartment building and connects with a woman who has lost everything. While working with Jenny to unravel the details of the fire, Detective McAvoy (Roger Cross) finds himself suddenly on the trail of a different, more complex case. Liam (Éric Bruneau) finds himself dealing with some of his own demons, and Ross (Ehren Kassam) keeps a secret from Jenny.
“Coroner” is starring Serinda Swan as Dr. Jenny Cooper, Roger Cross as Detective Donovan “Mac” McAvoy, Lovell Adams-Gray as Dr. Dwayne Allen, Kiley May as River Baitz, Tamara Podemski as Alison Trent, Ehren Kassam as Ross, , Éric Bruneau as Liam.
In Coroner, Dr. Jenny Cooper (Serinda Swan), a recently widowed, newly appointed coroner investigates any suspicious, unnatural or sudden deaths in Toronto. The series reflects the rich racial, class and gender diversity of the city.
