HBO reveals Official Synopsis of The Nevers episode Ignition

HBO has released the Official Synopsis of The Nevers episode “Ignition” (1.03) that will be aired on Sunday, April 25 at 9:00-10:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

Penance (Ann Skelly) creates an amplifier to spread Mary’s (Eleanor Tomlinson) hope-inspiring song across the city – but first, Mary (Tomlinson) must find her elusive voice. As danger mounts against her group, Amalia (Laura Donnelly) propositions an unlikely ally and sets out to expand the Orphanage’s reach. Swann (James Norton) further entangles Augie (Tom Riley) and Mundi (Ben Chaplin) in his business affairs.

“The Nevers” is starring Olivia Williams as Lavinia Bidlow, James Norton as Hugo Swann, Tom Riley as Augustus “Augie” Bidlow, Pip Torrens as Lord Gilbert Massen, Ben Chapli as Inspector Frank Mundi, Denis O’Hare as Edmund Hague, Amy Manson as the tortured, Rochelle Neil as the fire-wielding Annie “Bonfire” Carby, Zackary Momoh as orphanage doctor Horatio Cousens, Eleanor Tomlinson as Mary Brighton, Elizabeth Berrington as Lucy Best, Anna Devlin as Primrose Chattoway, Kiran Sonia Sawar as Harriet Kaur, Viola Prettejohn as Myrtle Haplisch, Ella Smith as Désireé Blodgett, Vinnie Heaven as Nimble Jack, Nick Frostas feared criminal overlord Declan “Beggar King” Orrun.

In The Nevers, August, 1896. Victorian London is rocked to its foundations by a supernatural event which gives certain people – mostly women – abnormal abilities, from the wondrous to the disturbing. But no matter their particular “turns,” all who belong to this new underclass are in grave danger.
