The CW reveals Official Synopsis of Burden of Truth episode Where The Shadows Lie Waiting

The CW has released the Official Synopsis of Burden of Truth episode “Where The Shadows Lie Waiting” (4.07) that will be aired on Friday, September 10 at 8:00-9:00 PM.



With one day left before the disciplinary hearing, Joanna (Kristin Kreuk) and Billy (Peter Mooney) set out to finish the case against the mine. Luna (Star Slade) tries to establish a connection between the mine and the trafficking ring. Taylor (Anwen O’Driscoll) is determined to protect Dee (Victoria Turko) from her ex-boyfriend.

“Burden of Truth” is starring Kristin Kreuk as Joanna Chang, Peter Mooney as Billy Crawford, Star Slade as Luna Spence, Meegwun Fairbrother as Officer Owen Beckbie, Anwen O’Driscoll as Taylor Matheson, Brynn Godenir as Stevie Nichols, Paul Essiembre as Nevin Page, Skye Pelletier as Kip Bellegarde.

The episode was directed by Michelle Latimer and written by Meegwun Fairbrother and Eric Putzer (#407).


In Burden of Truth, Attorney Joanna Hanley (Kristin Kreuk) leaves her picture-perfect legal career as a partner in a corporate law firm to solve the case of a mysterious illness affecting the female high school students of her hometown Millwood in Manitoba – a prairie town with an industrial past and an uncertain future.

Burden of Truth is produced by IFC Films and Entertainment One in association with Eagle Vision Inc. with executive producers Ilana Frank, Adam Pettle, Jocelyn Hamilton, Linda Pope and Kristin Kreuk.
