CBS reveals Official Synopsis of The Equalizer episode Separated

CBS Entertainment has released the Official Synopsis of The Equalizer episode “Separated” (2.08) that will be aired on Sunday, January 2 at 8:00-9:00 PM.


McCall and Mel help a deported woman track down her son after she was separated from him while seeking asylum at the U.S. border. Also, Mel, McCall and Bishop exhaust every avenue to get Harry released from prison.

“The Equalizer” is starring Queen Latifah (Robyn McCall), Tory Kittles (Detective Marcus Dante), Adam Goldberg (Harry Keshegian), Liza Lapira (Melody “Mel” Bayani), Laya DeLeon Hayes (Delilah),Lorraine Toussaint (Viola “Vi” Marsette), Chris Noth (William Bishop).

In The Equalizer, Queen Latifah stars as Robyn McCall, an enigmatic former CIA operative who uses her extensive skills to help those with nowhere else to turn. As McCall acclimates to civilian life, she is compelled to use her considerable resources to help Jewel (Lorna Courtney), a teenager accused of murder and on the run from the criminals who framed her for the crime, on the series premiere of the re-imagined classic series
