Paramount+ reveals Official Synopsis of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode Children of the Comet

Paramount+ has released the Official Synopsis of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds episode “Children of the Comet” (1.02) that will be available on Thursday, May 12.


While on a survey mission, the U.S.S. Enterprise discovers a comet is going to strike an inhabited planet. They try to re-route the comet, only to find that an ancient alien relic buried on the comet’s icy surface is somehow stopping them. As the away team try to unlock the relic’s secrets, Pike and Number One deal with a group of zealots who want to prevent the U.S.S. Enterprise from interfering.

“Star Trek: Picard” stars Patrick Stewart (Jean-Luc Picard), Alison Pill (Agnes Jurati), Jeri Ryan (Seven of Nine), Michelle Hurd (Raffi Musiker), Evan Evagora (Elnor), Isa Briones (Dahj), Orla Brady (Laris), Santiago Cabrera (Cristóbal Rios), Brent Spiner (Data).

Recurring Guest Star is Annie Wersching (Borg Queen). Special Guest Stars are Whoopi Goldberg (Guinan), John de Lancie (Q).

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is based on the years Captain Christopher Pike manned the helm of the U.S.S. Enterprise. The series will feature fan favorites from season two of STAR TREK: DISCOVERY, Anson Mount as Captain Christopher Pike, Rebecca Romijn as Number One and Ethan Peck as Science Officer Spock. The series will follow Captain Pike, Science Officer Spock and Number One in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.
