Prime Video reveals Official Synopsis of The Peripheral episode Pilot

Prime Video has released the Official Synopsis of The Peripheral episode “Pilot” (1.01) that will be available on Friday, October 21.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

Stuck in a small town without many prospects, Flynne Fisher is a brilliant gamer who works a dead end job to support her veteran brother and ailing mother. When her brother enlists her help playing an advanced video game known as a SIM , Flynne sees something she shouldn’t, bringing real life danger to the family’s doorstep.

“The Peripheral” is starring Chloë Grace Moretz, Jack Reynor, Gary Carr, Eli Goree , Louis Herthum, JJ Feild, T’Nia Miller, Charlotte Riley, Alexandra Billings, Adelind Horan, Alex Hernandez, Katie Leung, Julian Moore-Cook, Melinda Page Hamilton, Chris Coy, Austin Rising.

In The Peripheral, Flynne Fisher, her Marine veteran brother, Burton, and their dying mother live in a small town in the Blue Ridge Mountains in 2032. As their mother’s health deteriorates and the medical bills add up, Flynne and Burton make extra money playing simulations (Sims). The two siblings share Burton’s avatar, “jockeying” for high-paying customers to beat challenging game levels.
