The CW reveals Official Synopsis of Kung Fu episode The Scepter

The CW has released the Official Synopsis of Kung Fu episode “The Scepter” (3.11) that will be aired on Wednesday, February 22 at 09:00-10:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

ELECTION NIGHT

With time running out, Nicky (Olivia Liang) is forced to confront Bo (guest star Ben Levin) to get information on Xiao’s whereabouts before it’s too late. Mei-Li (Kheng Hua Tan) clashes with Carrie (guest star Kim Rhodes) at Harmony Dumplings, and Jin (Tzi Ma) makes a surprising decision that could affect the outcome of the election.

“Kung Fu” stars Olivia Liang as Nicky Shen, Kheng Hua Tan as Mei-Li Shen, Shannon Dang as Althea Shen, Eddie Liu as Henry Yan, Gavin Stenhouse as Evan Hartley, Vanessa Kai as Pei-Ling Zhang, Tony Chung as Dennis Soong and Tzi Ma as Jin Shen.

David Grossman directed the episode written by Angela Trevino (#311).

 

In Kung Fu, A quarter-life crisis causes a young Chinese American woman, Nicky Shen (Olivia Liang), to drop out of college and go on a life-changing journey to an isolated monastery in China. But when she returns to San Francisco, she finds her hometown is overrun with crime and corruption and her own parents Jin and Mei-Li are at the mercy of a powerful Triad.

KUNG FU is produced by Berlanti Productions and Quinn’s House in association with Warner Bros. Television and is inspired by the original series created by Ed Spielman. Executive producers Christina M. Kim, Robert Beren, Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter, Martin Gero and David Madden.
