NBC reveals Official Synopsis of Quantum Leap episode Ben, Interrupted

NBC has released the Official Synopsis of Quantum Leap episode “Ben, Interrupted” (1.16) that will be aired on Monday, March 20 at 10:00-11:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

When Ben lands in a 1950s psychiatric institution, he must engineer a daring escape for a young woman unjustly committed by her husband. The team is shocked to learn the identity of a mole in Quantum Headquarters.

In Quantum Leap, It’s been nearly 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett stepped into the Quantum Leap accelerator and vanished. Now, a new team, led by physicist Ben Song (Raymond Lee), has been assembled to restart the project in hope of understanding the mysteries behind the machine and the man who created it.

“Quantum Leap” is produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group with I Have an Idea! Entertainment, Belisarius Productions and Quinn’s House Productions. Steven Lilien and Bryan Wynbrandt will write and executive produce. Don Bellisario, Deborah Pratt, Ryan Lindenberg, Robert Hull and Martin Gero executive produce.
