CBS reveals Official Synopsis of East New York episode Pound of Flesh

CBS Entertainment has released the Official Synopsis of East New York episode “Pound of Flesh” (1.17) that will be aired on Sunday, March 26 at 9:00-10:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

The 7-4 investigates the suspicious death of the patriarch of a neighborhood barbecue joint who has a close connection to Suarez. Also, Haywood receives an unexpected request from her father.

“East New York” is starring Amanda Warren (Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood), Jimmy Smits (Chief John Suarez), Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Officer Marvin Sandeford), Kevin Rankin (Detective Tommy Killian), Richard Kind (Captain Stan Yenko), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Detective Crystal Morales), Olivia Luccardi (Officer Brandy Quinlan), Lavel Schley (Officer Andre Bentley).

This episode is written by Andrew Maher, Patrick Coker & Adam Wiesen and directed by Ramaa Mosley.

In East New York, Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region.
