NBC reveals Official Synopsis of Law & Order episode Deadline

NBC has released the Official Synopsis of Law & Order episode “Deadline” (22.15) that will be aired on Thursday, March 23 at 8:00-9:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

When a celebrated journalist is killed, Cosgrove and Shaw explore an unpublished report involving a prominent politician. Price and Maroun fight an uphill battle when their only credible witness is currently awaiting trial for another heinous crime.

“Law & Order” is starring Sam Waterston, Anthony Anderson, Jeffrey Donovan, Camryn Manheim, Hugh Dancy and Odelya Halevi.

Law & Order‘s unique bifurcated format of police procedural and legal drama is known for its ripped-from-the-headline stories. Set and filmed in New York City, the first half is a murder investigation and apprehension of a suspect by NYPD detectives while the second half is the prosecution of the defendant by the Manhattan District Attorney’s office.
