The CW has released the Official Synopsis of The Flash episode “It’s My Party And I’ll Die If I Want To” (9.09) that will be aired on Wednesday, April 26 at 08:00-09:00 PM.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, BARRY! – STEPHEN AMELL, DAVID RAMSEY, KEIYNAN LONSDALE AND SENDHIL RAMAMURTHY GUEST STAR

Team Flash throws a surprise birthday party for Barry (Grant Gustin) but things go terribly awry when Ramsey Rosso (Sendhil Ramamurthy) crashes the festivities.

“The Flash is starring Grant Gustin as Barry Allen/The Flash, Candice Patton as Iris West-Allen, Danielle Panabaker as Caitlin Snow/Killer Frost, Jesse L. Martin as Detective Joe West, Danielle Nicolet as Cecile Horton, Kayla Compton as Allegra Garci and Brandon McKnight as Chester P. Runk.

Danielle Panabaker directed the episode written by Sam Chalsen & Emily Palizzi (#909).

In The Flash, Barry Allen was just 11 years old when his mother was killed in a bizarre and terrifying incident and his father was falsely convicted of the murder. With his life changed forever by the tragedy, Barry was taken in and raised by Detective Joe West, the father of Barry’s best friend, Iris. Now, Barry has become a brilliant, driven and endearingly geeky CSI investigator, whose determination to uncover the truth about his mother’s strange death leads him to follow up on every unexplained urban legend and scientific advancement that comes along.
