CBS reveals Official Synopsis of East New York episode The Harder They Fall

CBS Entertainment has released the Official Synopsis of East New York episode “The Harder They Fall” (1.19) that will be aired on Sunday, April 23 at 9:00-10:00 PM.

OFFICIAL SYNOPSIS

After an assistant district attorney is found dead following a court appearance, Haywood and Suarez face enormous pressure to solve the case. Also, Killian turns to a questionable source for help with a personal problem.

“East New York” is starring Amanda Warren (Deputy Inspector Regina Haywood), Jimmy Smits (Chief John Suarez), Ruben Santiago-Hudson (Officer Marvin Sandeford), Kevin Rankin (Detective Tommy Killian), Richard Kind (Captain Stan Yenko), Elizabeth Rodriguez (Detective Crystal Morales), Olivia Luccardi (Officer Brandy Quinlan), Lavel Schley (Officer Andre Bentley).

This episode is written by Ed Redlich & Jonathan Tolins and directed by Lisa Leone.

In East New York, Bode Donovan, a young convict seeking redemption and a shortened prison sentence by joining an unconventional prison release firefighting program in Northern California, where he and other inmates are partnered with elite firefighters to extinguish massive, unpredictable wildfires across the region.
