Paramount+ confirmed that the second season of Taylor Sheridan’s acclaimed drama series LANDMAN will debut on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
The series stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.
Since its debut, LANDMAN has become a breakout hit for Paramount+. The series ranked among the top 10 SVOD original programs of Q4 2024, with its premiere episode drawing 35 million global streams, the highest in platform history. It remains the #1 Paramount+ Original of all time, serving as both the top engagement driver and most-watched household title. Thornton also earned a Golden Globe® nomination for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his role as Tommy Norris.
Set in the boomtowns of West Texas, LANDMAN explores the high-stakes world of oil rigs through a modern upstairs/downstairs lens, chronicling both roughnecks and billionaires in a boom reshaping the climate, economy, and geopolitics. The series is inspired by Boomtown, the acclaimed 11-part podcast from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly.
LANDMAN was co-created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, and is executive produced by Sheridan, Wallace, David C. Glasser, David Hutkin, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, Billy Bob Thornton, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Friedman, and Stephen Kay. Additional executive producers include Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch (Imperative Entertainment) and J.K. Nickell and Megan Creydt (Texas Monthly). Tommy Turtle serves as co-executive producer.
The series is produced by Paramount Television Studios, 101 Studios, and Sheridan’s Bosque Ranch Productions, with distribution by Paramount Global Content Distribution. Season one is currently available to stream exclusively on Paramount+.
LANDMAN joins Sheridan’s expanding Paramount+ slate, which includes 1923, 1883, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, Lawmen: Bass Reeves, and the upcoming Nola King, starring Samuel L. Jackson.
