USA Network has renewed its hit drama series Anna Pigeon for a second season, just days ahead of the season one finale airing this Friday at 10 p.m. ET/PT.
Starring Tracy Spiridakos and based on the New York Times best-selling novels by Nevada Barr, Anna Pigeon has quickly emerged as a breakout success for USA Network. The award-nominated series, from director Lea Thompson and showrunner Morwyn Brebner, ranks as the network’s highest-rated original scripted series premiere in nearly eight years.
Since its debut, Anna Pigeon has averaged 2.35 million total viewers within seven days of each episode’s premiere and remains the No. 1 new scripted drama on ad-supported cable in 2026. Across its full run, the series has reached 18 million total viewers.

The renewal comes as USA Network continues to expand its scripted slate, following the upcoming second-season premiere of fan-favorite series The Rainmaker and the greenlight of the new scripted original series Diplomatic Immunity.
The first season of Anna Pigeon follows Anna Pigeon (Spiridakos), a former city slicker who becomes a park ranger after a devastating loss changes the course of her life. As she attempts to outrun her past, Anna finds herself drawn into a series of crimes committed within national parks, putting her investigative instincts to the test as she confronts whatever — and whoever — stands in her way.
Season two is expected to continue Anna’s journey with more mysteries, danger and adventure as her story unfolds.
“Anna Pigeon has connected with audiences in a meaningful way, bringing a compelling new heroine and a fresh perspective to USA Network,” said Michael Sluchan, SVP, Scripted Content, Entertainment, VERSANT. “We’re thrilled to continue Anna’s journey with Tracy, Morwyn, Lea and our incredible partners at Cineflix.”
“It’s been really thrilling to see audiences fall in love with Anna and come to the park every week,” said Showrunner Morwyn Brebner. “We’re so grateful to our cast and crew who brought Nevada Barr’s iconic world to life with such heart and passion; we cannot wait to get back outside for season two.”
