Peacemaker Season 2 Launches August 21 - Cena’s Antihero Enters a New Reality on Max

The Max Original series PEACEMAKER returns for its second season on Thursday, August 21 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT, exclusively on Max. From DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television, the hit series created for television by James Gunn brings back John Cena as the explosive, morally-conflicted antihero fans can’t get enough of.
This season, Peacemaker stumbles upon an alternate world where everything seems perfect—a version of life he’s always dreamed of. But as the illusion unravels, he's forced to confront painful truths from his past and take control of his future in ways he never expected.
Cena is joined once again by Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick. Season 2 also welcomes new cast members Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows.
James Gunn wrote all eight episodes and directs three, including the season premiere. He also serves as executive producer alongside Peter Safran and John Cena. The directing team this season includes Greg Mottola, Peter Sollett, and Althea Jones.
